Bad Boys IIis expected to pass $100m in international ticket sales today or tomorrowfollowing a $9.1m weekend haul that raised its total to $99.9m for ColumbiaTriStar Film Distributors International (CTFDI).

There were no major openingsfor the action sequel, which dropped 24% in its second weekend in France andadded $2.9m for a $7.4m cumulative total there.

CTFDI opened the actioner Welcome To The Jungle (formerly The Rundown on its domestic release throughUniversal) number one in Thailand on $451,000 from 77 screens.

The 18m local currency bow compared to 19.3m for The ScorpionKing last year.

In an unranked bow, Welcome To The Jungle opened in the Philippines on $194,000from 45. The 10.7m local currency opening compared to 9.1m for The ItalianJob and 8.9m for 2Fast 2 Furious, whichboth opened earlier this year.

Overall it grossed $900,000 for the weekend, raising itsinternational running total to $1.9m.

The police thriller S.W.A.T. took $1.8m for a $28.8m total to date. Highlights were anumber one bow in New Zealand on $193,000 from 52 screens.

The NZ$325,000 compared to NZ$305,000 for The Sum OF All Fears and NZ$342,000 for The BourneIdentity, which bothopened in 2002.
