The veteran sales and marketing executive arrives from Morgan Creek and will oversee a prestige slate alongside Bill Block heading into Toronto and the AFM.

As president of international, Diamond will have his hands full with a roster that includes Arnold Schwarzenegger action film Ten, Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi epic Elysium and John Turturro’s Fading Gigolo. Vice-president of sales John Friedberg will report to Diamond.

As president of international distribution at Morgan Creek Diamond worked on such titles as Jim Sheridan’s Dream House, sci-fi reboot The Thing and Ace Venture.

Prior to that he served as president of Fireworks Pictures and president of international distribution at Franchise Pictures.

Earlier this year, Media Content Capital made an eight-figure investment in QED International.
