Stanley's Girlfriend, a segment from DarclightFilms' Trapped Ashes horror anthology, has been selected to play inofficial selection at Cannes in the short film programe.
Directed by Monte Hellman, Stanley's Girlfriend isone of five stories in Trapped Ashes alongside offerings from Joe Dante, Ken Russell,Sean Cunningham and JohnGaeta.
Darclight Films will be in Cannes selling rights to Stanley's Girlfriend, which centres on a pair of friends whose bond isbroken by a betrayal with unforeseen consequences.
