Industry veteranChris DeMoulin has been named executive vice president of marketing for theAnschutz Film Group (AFG), where he will oversee integrated marketing andmerchandising on pictures produced by Walden Media and Bristol Bay Productions.

DeMoulin will report directly to AFG president Cary Granat andmore specifically will be responsible for marketing, publicity, promotion,product placement, licensing, video games and home entertainment.

He previously served as a strategic and merchandising consultantfor Walden Media on fantasy franchise The Chronicles Of Narnia, whichWalden is producing with Disney, while president of his own consulting company,Chris DeMoulin Associates.

The first of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, TheWitch And The Wardrobe, is currently in production in New Zealand.

Prior to starting his own consulting firm, DeMoulin spent eightyears at the Walt Disney Company, most recently serving as senior vicepresident of retail alliances for North America in the consumer products division.

AFG is the recently announced parent company of Walden Media andBristol Bay Productions (see Screendaily.com story, Apr 21).
