Stephanie Denton has resurfaced as president of worldwide distribution at Bold Films following her former employer Lionsgate's merger with Mandate Pictures.

Effective immediately, Denton will head Bold's newly formed international division and oversee domestic, marketing, business affairs, delivery and collection.

She is assembling her team and reports to Bold co-presidents Gary Michael Walters and David Lancaster. The company is currently in post-production on Starship Troopers 3: Marauders for Sony Pictures and Middle Of Nowhere starring Anton Yelchin, Susan Sarandon, Justin Chatwin and Eva Amurri.

Bold's next project, Legion, stars Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson and Charles S Dutton.

'Stephanie's tremendous track record and top-level relationships throughout the world make her the ideal candidate to lead Bold's expansion into global sales and distribution,' Walters said. 'Her dynamic leadership is a crucial component as we accelerate our production pace.'

'The future of Bold Films on the worldwide stage is not only extremely exciting, but also limitless in success,' Denton said.

Denton most recently served as president of international at Lionsgate and prior to that was president of distribution at Initial Entertainment Group where she handled sales on The Aviator, among others.

She played a key role in the formation of Lakeshore International and during her six-year tenure sold rights on Underworld, The Gift, Runaway Bride and Arlington Road.
