Diane Keaton will be the subject of the Film Society Of LincolnCenter's 34th annual gala tribute on the closing night on Apr 9,2007.

"Keaton's career-defining roles in films, directed by WoodyAllen, Francis Ford Coppola, Warren Beatty and Nancy Myers, among others, havemade her one of the most popular and beloved screen stars in America,"gala tribute director Wendy Keys said.

"Delightful, surprising, radiant and above all, deeplyindependent, she has brought a variety of rich and memorable characters to thescreen."

Keaton made herdebut in the 1970 comedy Lovers And Other Strangers and won the Oscar in 1978 for AnnieHall. She has beennominated on three other occasions for Reds, Marvin's Room, and Something's Gotta Give.
