Ereira will extend his 1990 BBC documentary about the Kogi tribe into a feature

UK TV documentary film-maker Alan Ereira is to make his feature debut with Aluna, a film about the Kogi tribe who live on an isolated mountain on the Colombian Caribbean coast.

The tribe was the subject matter of Ereira’s 1990 BBC documentary From The Heart Of The World: The Elder Brother’s Warning, and Ereira’s feature film will explore different aspects of the tribe including the Kogi’s belief that the earth’s life force (Aluna) is being torn apart.

Ereira has already shot an eight minute teaser for the feature film, which is being produced for his UK company Sunstone Films.  He is currently looking for UK distribution.
