Arts Alliance Media (AAM) has bought new cinema server equipment from Doremi Cinema for use in the development of the UK Film Council's Digital Screen Network.

The DCP-2000 digital servers will be installed in all new sites and will replace servers already within the Digital Screen Network.

Fiona Dean, Arts Alliance Media's Director of Digital Cinema, said that Doremi Cinema was 'committed to evolving with the market and providing the best possible technology solutions.'

AAM won the contract to install and operate the network in February2005, and is due to complete installations by late Spring this year.

Digital cinema will be at the centre of a series of debates hosted by Arts Alliance Media and Screen International at this year's Berlin Film Festival.
