MEDIA Plus producer training programme EAVE has announced plans for further Production Forums in Venice, Ghent and Vendome following its first one on 'Responding To New Developments in European Distribution' in Paris from July 4-6.

The Venice Forum - 'Getting To Know Asian Markets' - from August 23-26 will bring experts together from Hong Kong, Thailand, France, Japan and Korea to explore the potential for collaboration between Asia and Europe in film distribution and international co-production.

Among the speakers already confirmed are Fortissimo Film Sales' Wouter Barendrecht, Thai producer Duangkamol Limcharden of Cinemasia Co. Ltd., Korean producer and Pusan Promotion Plan deputy director Taesung Jeong, and Pathe International's director of sales Pascal Diot.

This will be followed by a forum dedicated to 'Developing Your Company In Today's Market' during the Flanders International Film Festival in Ghent from October 11-13 with speakers including producers Jens Meurer of Egoli Tossell Film, Finland's Petra Tarjanne of Movision Oy, Austria's Danny Krausz of DOR Film, and Luxembourg's Jani Thiltges of Samsa Film.

The Forums will then be rounded off in December by a Finance Forum held during Vendome's Festival Images en Region.

The Paris Forum will centre on case studies presented by Fortissimo Film Sales' Esther Bannenberg, The Coproduction Office's Philippe Bober, Cinelibre/Cineart's Eliane Du Bois, ACE's Sophie Bourdon and Lucky Red's Andrea Occhipintito to explore the options for responding to the changing market landscape and new relationships between production and distribution.
