Elysium stands at $49.2m. The Smurfs 2 opens in Taiwan and has grossed $159.3m excluding Japan. ThisIs The End has grossed $16.9m and opens in Spain, while Grown Ups 2 has taken $49.2m and White House Down stands at an even $60m.

Fox International’s Wolverine has reached $218.4m. Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters on $37.5m opens in Russia among other smaller markets, while DreamWorks Animation’s Turbo has reached $66.9m and debuts in Italy. Feuchtgebiete arrives in Germany. The Heat on $50.6m opens in France and Denmark.

Paramount Pictures International’s Pain And Gain is still in the early stages of release and opens this weekend in Germany and Brazil. Star Trek Into Darkness boldly goes into Japan and World War Z arrives in the fruitful market of Venezuela.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International executives have plotted releases for Monsters University in China and Italy this weekend. The Pixar film stands at $403m. The Lone Ranger on $135.7m arrives in Spain ahead of the Oct 6 launch in China, while Planes has reached an early $11m.

Warner Bros Pictures International’s The Conjuring has amassed $72m and opens in France, Italy and Mexico this weekend. Pacific Rim stands at $292.3m while Man Of Steel stands at $360m.
