The Pianiststar Emilia Fox has taken a lead role in director Sean Ellis' Cashback which is currently shooting inLondon.

Fox stars as a supermarketclerk who becomes the love interest of main character Ben, played by SeanBiggerstaff (Harry Potter And The ChamberOf Secrets).

Billed as a quirky comedy,the film is about an insomniac art student who, in an attempt to while away hissleepless nights, takes up the graveyard shift at a supermarket.

Cashback started life as an 18-minute short film in 2004 but after winning awardsat six major festivals - including the Golden Hugo Award at the ChicagoInternational Film Festival - the film isnow being remade into a feature length version.

Other cast members includeMichelle Ryan (EastEnders), MarkPickering (Sleepy Hollow) and ShaunEvans (Being Julia).

The film -both written anddirected by Ellis - is the director's first feature length film. Ellispreviously worked as a fashion photographer for magazines such as ID, Dazed andConfused, Face and Vogue in the late nineties before moving into directingcommercials. In 2001, Ellis made his short film directorial debut with Left Turn, which was produced by UglyDucklings Film.

Currently in its third weekof filming, Cashback is expected towrap at the end of next week.

The film is produced by LeftTurn Film - a partnership between Ellis and his long-time producer LeneBausager who heads Ugly Duckling Films.

As with the short filmversion of Cashback, Daphne Guinnessis the executive producer of the project.
