Winchester Capital Management Partners has launched a global government incentive and tax financing initiative which will provide innovative tax structures for those working in the entertainment industry. 

In addition, Eli Baker will head up the fund and will help manage Winchester’s investment portfolio.  He will be responsible for the negotiation and structuring of Winchester’s structured finance deals, single and multi-picture financings, senior and gap lending opportunities and tax/government incentive financing transactions.  

With the launch, Winchester Capital Management will finance and cash-flow soft-money government incentives in all U.S. state jurisdictions as well as global, non-U.S. tax opportunities. 

Baker joins from Grosvenor Park, where he worked in the business of structured finance, debt, and tax incentive businesses.  Baker has also served as the in-house counsel to various distribution companies and studios, including Content Film/Allumination and Lionsgate/Artisan Entertainment. 

Recent feature film investments include: The Men Who Start At Goats starring George Clooney and directed by Grant Helsov, The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee directed by Rebecca Miller and starring Robin Wright Penn and Keanu Reeves, The Killing Room directed by Jonathan Liebesman, and a multi-picture financing relationship with Luc Besson’s Europa Corp.
