Love has been chosen as the theme for Audiovisual Eureka's 5th Eureka Screenings which are being hosted in Skopje by the Minister of Culture of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia from October 30 - November 3.

During three days, buyers from all over Europe will have the opportunity of viewing a selection of 300 'love stories' from fiction to documentary, animation and shorts.

The films will be selected by a jury headed by Oscar-nominated Macedonian filmmaker Stojan-Stole Popov and including producer Marco Mueller, the Yugoslav Film Institute's director Miroljub Vuckovic, and representatives of Eurimages and the European Documentary Network.

Film entries must originate from one of Audiovisual Eureka's 35 member states and rights must not have been sold in more than five European Union member countries.

The Screenings, which were previously held in Budapest (1998), Athens (1999), Moscow (2000) and Istanbul (2001), will for the first time include pitching sessions for twelve feature film projects and twelve documentary projects.
