Shootinghas begun on a new project from producer Bertrand Faivre. Sauf Le Respect Que Je Vous Dois, whose English title is Burn Out, began principal photographylast month in Paris and will carry on for another four weeks in Paris and theprovinces.

Directed byFabienne Godet, Burn Out stars 2002Cannes best actor prize winner Olivier Gourmet as a man who goes on the runfollowing nasty doings at his place of work. The high-profile cast is roundedout with Big Fish actress MarionCotillard, double 2003 Cesar winner Julie Depardieu and four time Cesar winnerDominique Blanc.

The film isproduced by Faivre's Paris-based Le Petit Bureau. The Euros 1.9m budget was puttogether by Faivre, Sofica and regional funding along with an advance onreceipts from France's film funding body the CNC.

Haut etCourt will distribute Burn Out whichshould be ready for a May 2005 debut.

Additionally,shooting began Monday on the big budget JoyeuxNoel from Christian Carion which Faivre is co-producing via his UK-basedoutfit The Bureau.

That filmstars Goodbye Lenin!'s DanielBruehl and Troy's Diane Krugeralong with Kruger's husband French star Guillaume Canet, Andre Dussolier andGary Lewis. The multilingual film is produced by Christophe Rossignon'sNord-Ouest Productions and co-produced by The Bureau and Belgium's Artemis.Films Distribution is handling sales.
