Arclight Films has completed sales in more than two dozen territories on its thriller The Courier starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Mickey Rourke and Josie Ho.

Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now) is currently shooting the film in Louisiana from a script by 3:10 To Yuma writers Derek Haas and Michael Brandt.

Deals have closed in Scandinavia and Iceland (Svensk), Benelux (Source Investments), Brazil (Paris), South Africa (Nu Metro), Portugal (Lusomundo), the Czech Republic and Hungary (Freeman Film), Turkey (Aqua Pinema) and Greece and Cyprus (Filmopolis).

Rights have also gone to Canada (VVS Films), Israel (Forum Films), India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines and Singapore (PT Parkit), Middle East (Pipeline), Romania (Media Pro), Bulgaria (Tandem), former Yugoslavia (VTI), Latin American Pay TV (Ledafilms) and Ukranian DVD (CID).

Arclight is financing and Cary Brokaw is producing the story of a delivery agent hired to transport a briefcase to a notorious crime lord hiding out as an Elvis impersonator.

The company is also introducing AFM buyers to thriller The Applicant which will star Amber Heard as a student who will stop at nothing to get into Yale.

The slate includes starring Christopher Walken, Christian Slater and Franka Potente in the global conspiracy thriller The Power Of Few, set to commence shooting in New Orleans later this month.
