Films by Spike Jonze and Park Chan-wook make the cut.

25 films from 21 countries will be competing for the Golden Bear and Silver Bear, the DAAD Short Film Prize and a nomination for the EFA Short Film Prize.

The winning films will be chosen by US photographer and film-maker Nan Goldin, Israeli filmmaker and director of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School Renen Schorr and Tunisian film-maker Ibrahim Letaief, with the awards presentation taking place on Feb 19 at the Berlin Film Festival.
