Sergei Yershov’s Los Angeles-based Film Depot, which specialises in distribution in Russia and the CIS states, has snapped up rights to a raft of films at EFM.

Yershov has closed deals on Daniel Stamm’s The Last Exorcism, a horror film from StudioCanal, and Patrice Pooyard’s documentary The Revelation Of The Pyramids, an investigation into theories behind Egypt’s pyramids, from Wild Bunch.

In further deals, Film Depot licensed rights to Eli Craig’s Sundance hit Tucker & Dale Vs Evil from Voltage Pictures, and Alexei Popogrebsky’s How I Ended This Summer (Kak Ya Provel Etim Letom) from Koktebel Film Company.

Film Depot recently distributed Glenn Ficarra and John Requa’s comedyI Love You Phillip Morris, starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor, and Tom Ford’s A Single Man.
