The Los Angeles-based companies have teamed up with production company Content Aggregator to jointly produce, finance and sell a slate of films kicking off at the EFM.

The new alliance will also handle the existing slate of films from Arsenal and The G-Machine. All new product that the partners acquire will get access to The G-Machine’s North American digital distribution deal with GoDigital.

Rola Nashef’s Detroit Unleaded [pictured] screens in Berlin and the combined sales team also represents Patrick Desmarattes’ completed action-adventure Inara, The Jungle Girl, as well as family film Legend Of Kung-Fu Rabbit and War Epic 1939: Heroes Of Westerplatte.

The inaugural production slate includes Betsy Chasse’s Killing Buddha and Michael Peterson’s sci-fi comedy-horror Insectula!

“We’re very excited about working with Ron and The G-Machine, who has a track record of producing and acquiring high-quality commercial films with many clients in the independent market including New Films, RKO and Sony,” said Arsenal’s Yarek Danielak.

“Yarek is highly regarded and an experienced seller of commercial films internationally,” said The G-Machine CEO Ron Gell. “We will be actively expanding Yarek’s slate, which will allow me to focus on producing and acquiring commercial, cast-driven independent films.”
