Cinema Management Group (CMG) will bring the 3D animation to Berlin on behalf of Vancouver-based Rainmaker Entertainment and Blockade Entertainment of LA.

CMG head Edward Noeltner and his team will unveil new footage to Ratchet & Clank, the family title based on Sony Computer Entertainment America’s PlayStation video game franchise.

The story tells of a pair of unlikely heroes who try to thwart a vile alien from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy.

Production in association with Sony Computer Entertainment America and series creator and primary developer Insomniac Games is underway in Vancouver for a scheduled early 2015 release.

“After a visit to Rainmaker’s headquarters in December and meeting all the incredibly talented and dedicated individuals behind this production, we were keen to come on board and made Rainmaker an offer for international distribution via CMG’s recently established CMG Film Fund, Dallas – run by Fund Managers Brian and Jason Cleveland,” said Noeltner.

“That our CMG Film Fund, Dallas is facilitating our ability to work with high profile animation studios like Rainmaker and for CMG to bring this exciting new film to the international market is a testament to what we have been able to achieve over the past 10 years.”
