Toronto-based Forward Motion has acquired international sales on the Gary Coleman (pictured) comedy Midgets Vs Mascots, one of several new titles on its slate.
In Midgets Vs Mascots, the former child star from TV’s Diff’rent Strokes takes on the leadership of a group of ‘littles’, who will go to any lengths as they compete in a bizarre contest for $1m in prize money. First Look Studios holds US rights.
Forward Motion’s roster includes action thriller A Lonely Place For Dying. James Cromwell stars in the Vietnam War tale of a KGB mole who holds potentially explosive information about the CIA.
Horror comedy Zombies Of Mass Destruction, by Kevin Hamedani, is being released through After Dark in the US. It blends George A Romero-style social commentary with the humour of Shaun Of The Dead.
