Aldamisa International has signed the iconic entertainer to direct a film in what will be her first outing in the role since 1996’s The Mirror Has Two Faces.

Streisand is mulling several options and Aldamisa International will handle world sales.

Aldamisa president of international sales and acquisitions Nadine de Barros will produce with Aldamisa co-chairman Sergei Bespalov, while Mark Manuel’s Kilburn Media will finance.

The iconic performer’s directorial debut was Yentl in 1983, followed by The Prince Of Tides in 1991.

“We are thrilled to provide underwriting for a filmmaker of her vision, stature and accomplishment,” said de Barros.
