EXCLUSIVE: EoF channels will now be launched on Spain’s Filmin, Turkey’s Salonsuz and Chile’s Ojocorto.

The Eye on Films (EoF) network has expanded to Spain, Turkey and Chile with the creation of EoF channels on existing VoD platforms.

Speaking exclusively to Screen, EoF project coordinator Nawid Sarem revealed that EoF channels will now be launched on Spain’s Filmin, Turkey’s Salonsuz and Chile’s Ojocorto.

In addition, he announced that EoF’s own new VoD platform, Eyeflick – www.eyeflick.net – will be launched by WIDE and EoF in the week after the Berlinale in the USA and Croatia.

Almost 50 independent titles from the EoF catalogue will be available in the USA and around 20 films in Croatia.

“We will gradually open this platform up to other countries,” Sarem said.

Meanwhile, partnership agreements were finalised at the EFM by EoF with the sales companies Autlook Filmsales and Amadeus Entertainment to join the roster of more than 110 international partners, including festivals, distributors, exhibitors and institutions, promoting first and second feature films through the EoF network.

EoF general manager Loic Magneron [pictured] added that, “in 2-3 years, we have plans to make EoF a private company which would be indpendent of WIDE Management. This will become a reality once we have achieved a critical mass with the number of titles on offer.”

EoF is currently one of the projects supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe – MEDIA’s market access action line.
