Sales company picks up international rights to David Gordon Green’s latest feature, which will receive its international premiere in competition at Berlin.

The Match Factory has acquired international rights to David Gordon Green’s Prince Avalanche, which premiered in Sundance.

Prince Avalanche stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch and is an adaptation of Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson’s Either Way. It concerns two men who strike up an unlikely friendship while repainting traffic lines down an isolated country highway.

The film will receive its international premiere on Feb 13 in competition at the Berlinale.

Prince Avalanche was produced by Muskat Filmed Properties and Dogfish Pictures, in association with Lankn Partners, Dreambridge Films, The Bear Media and Rough House.
