Berlinale's Generation selections include Gilroy's The Cold Lands and Mordaunt's The Rocket

The Berlinale has announced the first selections for its Generation Kplus and Generation 14plus competitions.

The rest of the lineup will be announced in mid-January.

The selections are as follows:
