Dakota Johnson is joining Andrew Garfield in David Robert Mitchell’s modern-day noir crime thriller Under The Silver Lake that A24 has picked up for the US.
Insiders handles international sales on Mitchell’s next film after he broke out with Cannes 2014 selection and 2015 release It Follows.
Johnson stars in Luca Guadagnino’s A Bigger Splash opposite Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes and Matthias Schoenaerts and is filming Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
Michael De Luca is producing Under The Silver Lake via his Michael De Luca Productions alongside Chris Bender, Jake Weiner and Adele Romanski.
Lucy Kitada is overseeing the project for Michael De Luca Productions.
CAA, which represents Mitchell and Garfield, packaged the project and brokered the deal.
