Unveiling his “deepest and most diverse” Cannes sales roster, Patrick Wachsberger and his team arrive on the Croisette with eight titles.

The slate includes Now You See Me 3, the latest episode in the heist franchise whose second episode is about to open worldwide on June 10.

3D motion capture fantasy adventure L.O.R.D. hails from writer-director Guo Jingming. China’s LeVision produced with Original Force and financed with other partners.

The roster includes the Lionsgate/CBS Films action drama Patriots Day starring Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, Kevin Bacon and J.K. Simmons in the story of the manhunt that followed the Boston Marathon bombing.

The Summit Entertainment/Black Label action drama No Exit stars Josh Brolin and Miles Teller in the true saga of the firefighters who battled one of the most dangerous wildfires in history.

Wachsberger and the team will introduce Lionsgate/Hasbro film My Little Pony: The Movie starring Emily Blunt and Kristin Chenoweth, and Lionsgate/CBS Films’ Michael Keaton starrer American Assassin, which Lorenzo Di Bonaventura produces and is based on Vince Flynn’s bestselling series.

Rounding out the line-up is Wonder, a coming-of-age tale from producers Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman that stars Julia Roberts and Room’s Jacob Tremblay, and Marrowbone, which ScreenDaily announced exclusively and will mark the feature debut of Sergio G. Sanchez with J.A. Bayona on board as executive producer.

“We are proud to bring to our distribution partners our deepest and most diverse Cannes slate of critically acclaimed, commercially exciting films ever,” said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairs Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman and international COO Andrew Kramer.

“Our portfolio of blockbuster franchises, big tentpole movies and star-driven event films showcases one of the greatest collections of creative talent in our studio’s history, and we believe that our slate will have tremendous resonance with global audiences for years to come.”

Capping off Lionsgate’s presence in Cannes will be the Competition world premiere of Sean Penn’s The Last Face, which Lionsgate International sold outside the US. Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem star.
