Buyers devour Protagonist’s Monsters

Gareth Edwards’ Monsters continued to be a hot seller for Protagonist Pictures here in Cannes.

The latest deals include Spain (Avalon), Japan (Clockworx), Italy (Filmauro), Australia/New Zealand (Madman), Switzerland (Impuls), Scandinavia (Scanbox) and Benelux (A-Film).

It follows earlier deals done for North America, France, Germany, CIS and Middle East. The film, a hit during its SXSW premiere, is about alien life causing havoc at the U.S.-Mexico border,

Scott McNairy and Whitney Able star.
