Danny Dyer, Robert Cavanah, John Hannah, Martin Compston and Shauna MacDonald will star in new UK gangster film Pimp.

The project, to shoot this summer in London, is being sold by Stealth Media Group.

Cavanah, who wrote Pimp with Jon Kirby, will also make his feature film directorial debut. The film tells the story of a Soho pimp, who is being followed by a documentary camera crew for a week.

Triple S Films’ Matthew Stradling and Paul De Vos will produce along with Crispin Manson and Royd Tolkien of Jubilee Pictures and Michael L Cowan and Jason Piette of Spice Factory UK Limited. David Heyman is executive producer.

The film is being financed by Premier Pictures and Cibola Entertainment, headed by Eric Mitchell and Dragon.
