StudioCanal sells Change of Plans

StudioCanal has sold Daniele Thompson’s latest ensemble work Change Of Plans to IFC for US distribution.

The Paris-set comedy stars Dany Boon, Marina Hands and Emmanuelle Seigner. It raked in 2 million admissions in France earlier this year.

IFC’s Jonathan Sehring said: “We couldn’t be happier to have at last found a project with Daniele Thompson. Her films are everything Americans love about French cinema.”

Thompson, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, last directed Avenue Montaigne which earned $2m in US box office. IFC is planning a day and date theatrical and VOD release for Change Of Plans in early 2010.
