UK's F&ME joins sci-fi comedy Iron Sky

London-based Film and Music Entertainment has boarded Blind Spot Pictures’ Iron Sky as co-producer.

The $7.2m (€5.5m) project, directed by Timo Vuorensola, is also produced by  27 Films Production, Energia Productions and Cinet.

The science fiction comedy is about Nazis on the moon at the end of the Second World War. It follows an officer and his staff as they make a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity and send the world hurtling towards its doom.

The film, which will qualify as an official British co-production,  will be post-produced at Molinare in London, with CGI and visual effects being handled by Molinare subsidiary Men From Mars.
