Canada’s Double Dutch International has licensed rights in Cannes to Level 1 Entertainment’s thriller Detour starring Neil Hopkins and Brea Grant, closing deals with IPA Asia Pacific for Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The thriller was one of several new titles at the market alongside family tale Saving Santa with Joey Lauren Adams, William Shockley and Kevin Pollack, terrorism thriller The Assignment 1.0 and Winter Of Discontent, about the Egyptian Revolution.

Psychological thriller Cold Blooded starring Ryan Robbins, Zoie Palmer and William MacDonald has gone to Zazie Films in Japan, OFdB in Germany, Premiere TV in Benelux and HBO for central Europe. As previously announced, Uncork’d Entertainment and VIVA Pictures acquired US rights.

In other deals: Warhouse went to US (XLrator) and UK (4Digital Media); House Of Last Things to Russia (UMS1) and Turkey (Sinema TV); Conception to Russia (UMS1), Scandinavia (Koch Media) and Brazil (Rio Negro Films); Union Square to Brazil (Rio Negro Films), South Korea (Nowcontents) and Thailand (Shamangkolfilm); and General Education to Russia (UMS1), Brazil (Rio Negro Films) and Thailand (Shamangkolfilm).
