Ryan Gosling’s feature directorial debut How To Catch A Monster currently shooting in Detroit has proved to be a hot seller for Sierra/Affinity.

Rights have gone to eOne for the UK, Australia and Canada, as well as to Wild Side in France, Scanbox in Scandinavia, Top Film / DK Media in CIS, Sun in Latin America and Golden Scene in Hong Kong.

Deals also closed in Portugal (Lusomundo), Switzerland (Ascot Elite), Tanweer (India), Middle East (Eagle), Benelux (Cineart), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Malaysia and Singapore (MVP), Thailand (Monkol), Philippines (Viva Communications), Greece (Seven Films), Turkey (Calinos), former Yugoslavia (Cinemania) and Iceland (Myndform).

Marc Platt and Adam Siegel are producing for Marc Platt Productions with Gosling through his Phantasma Films banner and Michel Litvak and David Lancaster for Bold Films.

Christina Hendricks, Iain De Caestecker, Saoirse Ronan, Ben Mendelsohn, Eva Mendes, Matt Smith and Rob Zabrecky star in star in Gosling’s fantasy-drama. As previously announced, Warner Bros acquired US rights on the eve of the market.

Gosling stars in upcoming Cannes world premiere Only God Forgives from his Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn.
