Bristol’s Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival (September 16 – 21) has added a three-day industry forum.

The event will include an interactive cinema, ‘Hybrid Playground’ and HDR moving image research lab as well as an industry screening series and panel debates.

Masterclass subjects include Dean Humphries and Fernando Coimbra. Each day will be structured around a theme: Fusion (Wednesday), Festivals (Thursday)and Form (Friday).

Forum participants will include NFTS; BAFTA; LFA; CMIR, Creative England; British Council, Nexus (Interactive); Rovio; LUX; the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen; and Touch (Music).

This year the Watershed-based event will host around 200 new short films and animated films.
