It's All So Quiet to open Berlin Panorama Special section

Twelve world premieres added to Berlin’s Panorama section.

Nanouk Leopold’s Dutch-German co-production It’s All So Quiet [pictured] will receive its world premiere as the opening film of the Panorama Special section at the upcoming Berlinale.

Leopold’s film is one of twelve world premieres announced in the latest wave of Berlin Panorama titles, including Asli Ozge’s Hayatboyu (Lifelong), Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai PO Che and Carter’s Maladies starring James Franco, whose Interior. Leather Bar (co-directed with Travis Mathews) will receive its international premiere at this year’s festival.

The previously announced Chemi Sabnis Naketsi (A Fold in my Blanket) will open the Panorama main programme on Feb 7.

Premieres in the Panorama main programme will screen at CinemaxX 7, while Panorama Special will again be screening at two venues: the Friedrichstadt-Palast and the Kino International.
