Today in Karlovy Vary, the Docu Talents from the East presentation will include nine documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe in production or post-production.

All projects are planned for theatrical distribution from August 2012 through July 2013.

Organisers are KVIFF and Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, and each will be a ten-minute presentation.

Fortress (Pevnost) (Czech Republic) [pictured]

Cain’s Children (Kain Gyermekei) (Hungary)

In Pre-production, a story about teenagers who have been sentenced to long prison sentences for murder. They were filmed in 1984 and again 27 years later after the fall of communism.
