The speakers will include filmmakers Kevin Macdonald [pictured], Penny Woolcock and Kim Longinotto, Turi Munthe of Demotix, William Uricchio of MIT’s Open Documentary Lab, Gavin MacFadyen of the Centre for Investigative Journalism, Alexandre Brachet of Upian.com and Emily Bell of Columbia University.

Films to screen include The Central Park Five by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon; Last Call at the Oasis by Jessica Yu; We Are Legion: The Story of Hacktivists by Brian Knappenberger; and The Ambassador by Mads Brugger.

The three-day event, March 1-3, will include screenings and discussions held at London’s Rich Mix Cinema.

The festival is supported by the Bertha Foundation and received a grant from Film London’s Cultural Film Exhibition Fund through National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI.
