Former IMG and BBC Worldwide France employee joins doc market

International documentary market Sunny Side Of The Doc (La Rochelle, 26-29 June, 2012) has appointed Alexandra Stainov as Head of International Development.

In her new role, Stainov will be working in close collaboration with Yves Jeanneau on the development of the market’s editorial strategy. 

She will also oversee guest speakers at the market and at the coproduction rendez-vous Asian Side and Latin Side.

Before Sunny Side of the Doc, Stainov was VP Entertainment Sales at IMG and previously worked as Television Manager in charge of factual sales and co-productions at BBC Worldwide France. 

“I am thrilled to be part of the Sunny Side team, helping producers to take full advantage, as I did for many years, of the unique networking and coproduction opportunities Sunny Side offers, at the same time enabling all attendants to keep closely in tune with production trends and market evolutions,” commented Stainov.
