Ajay Singh’s family film Upside Down are among the films making a West Coast premiere at the Arpa International Film Festival, set to run from Nov 29-Dec 2 in Los Angeles.

Industry panel Re-imaging The Audience: Media And Event Accessibility For The Blind And Deaf will address the latest innovations in captioning and video delivery technology.

Cameron Covell will present the 11-minute short The Most Beautiful Thing, demonstrating new technology engineered for audiences of all sensory abilities.

“We received a wide variety of films, both stylistically and thematically, from burgeoning and established filmmakers alike,” said Arpa director of programming Armen Toumajan.

“Though it was our most difficult selection process ever, we managed to cull the best of the best. This year’s line-up is truly our most international in scope and offers something for everyone. Festival patrons will not be disappointed.”
 



The festival runs in Los Angeles from Nov 29-Dec 2.
