Tenth Brussels Film Festival bookended by Jean-Paul Rouve’s Quand Je Serai Petit and Trishna; events include Zentropa day; programme includes Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love.

The tenth The Brussels Film Festival (June 8 -16) will open with an advance national screening of Jean-Paul Rouve’s second feature, Quand Je Serai Petit and close with Trishna, Michael Winterbottom’s contemporary reimagining of Tess Of The D’Urbervilles.

Masterclasses come from scriptwriter Thomas Bidegain (Rust and Bone, A Prophet), composer Jean-Michel Bernard (Hugo) and directors Lucas Belvaux (One Night) and Peter Greenaway.

Zentropa’s Peter Aalbaek Jensen will head up a day dedicated to production outfit Zentropa on June 12. Events include a production masterclass with Jensen and a special screening of The Idiots.

Competition entries include My Brother the Devil and Clip while Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love is among other titles to get a national premiere screeninga ahead of its release on July 4.
