The 2011 Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) will run from October 13-17.

The festival is usually held over Columbus Day Weekend but launches one week later this year to honour Yom Kippur, which falls during Columbus Day Weekend this year. 

HIFF plans to return to its regular Columbus Day Weekend dates in 2012, namely October 4-8, to mark its 20th anniversary.
