Hollywood Je T’Aime, The Big Gay Musical bookend QFest

Jason Bushman’s feature debut Hollywood Je T’Aime will kick off this year’s Philadelphia QFest on July 9 while the world premiere of Casper Andreas and Fred M Caruso’s The Big Gay Musical will close the even on July 20.

The 12-day festival will showcase 140 titles overall.  Hollywood Je T’Aime stars Eric Debets as a naive Parisian who comes of age in Los Angeles.

The Big Gay Musical morphs the Biblical book of Genesis into a love story about two actors in an off-Broadway play.

As previously announced the festival has rebranded ahead of its 15th anniversary edition and is produced by Philadelphia Cinema Alliance and Philadelphia CineFest. It was previously known as the Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
