The House I Live In (pictured), The Invisible War and How To Survive A Plague are among the politically charged films that will screen alongside the Democrat and Republican party conventions.

The slate is aimed at lawmakers, candidates and delegates at the national political conventions and is designed to “enlighten and educate on the critical issues facing our nation’s leaders” according to festival co-founder Kimball Stroud.

The films will screen in local cinemas during the Republican convention from Aug 27-30 in Tampa, Florida, and similarly will play throughout the Democratic convention from Sept 3-6 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
