Organisers at the tenth anniversary edition have unveiled the second wave of programming at the event, set to run in Austin, Texas, from September 18-25.

The US premiere of Nightcrawler (pictured) starring Jake Gyllenhaal as a freelance Los Angeles crime journalist will close the event.

Also set to screen is the Keanu Reeves thriller John Wick, which Lionsgate recently picked up for US distribution.

Festival events will include live debates and the re-opening of the flagship Alamo Drafthouse theatre at South Lamar and the all-new Highball.

The two new sites boast three new screens and a completely rebuilt Highball bar, and seven custom-designed karaoke rooms.

The line-up include the world premiere of Mikkel Nørgaard’s crime thriller The Absent One, the North American premiere of Rakshit Shetty’s Indian gangster story As Seen By The Rest (Ulidavaru Kandante), the US premiere of Tim Grabham and Jasper Sharp’s UK documentary The Creeping Garden and Eskil Vogt’s Norwegian thriller Blind.
