Top brass at the 13th San Diego Film Festival have added three recent Toronto premieres to the line-up and announced they will honour Beau Bridges.

St Vincent, Pride (pictured) and The Equalizer will take their place among the programme at the California event, scheduled to run from September 24-28.

Bridges will receive the Cinema Vanguard Award, designed to recognise actors who demonstrate “the tenacity to forge new ground within their craft.”

The actor currently appears on Showtime series Masters Of Sex and the CBS comedy The Millers. He starred in last year’s stage show How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and his feature credits include The Descendants.
