Festival top brass unveiled the roster of galas and special screenings on Thursday (11).

The Centerpiece Galas are Life Of Pi, On The Road, Rise Of The Guardians in 3D andRust And Bone featuring a tribute to Marion Cotillard.

AFI FEST’s special screenings are The Central Park Five, Holy Motors, The Impossible, Quartet, Room 237, Silver Linings Playbook and West Of Memphis.

The world premieres of Hitchcock and Lincoln will bookend the festival as previously announced. AFI FEST 2012 is scheduled to run from Nov 1-8.
