Sundance competitor will have private screenings during EFM.

Coach14 has acquired international rights outside North America to Sundance competition entry Terri.

Azazel Jacobs’ film offers a new take on the high school experience, centered around Terri an alienated teenager who is orphaned to an ailing uncle, mercilessly teased by his peers and roundly ignored by his teachers. When he forms a friendship with the dreaded vice principal, played by John C. Reilly, Terri is encouraged to enjoy life and becomes an unlikely hero. Newcomer Jacob Wysocki plays Terri.

The deal was negotiated by Alexander Orlovsky and Hunter Gray on behalf of the film and Jaume Domenech on behalf of Coach14.

Terri will have private screenings during the EFM.

Other Coach14 titles screening at the EFM include Jean-Baptiste Leonetti’s Carré Blanc and Matthew Petock’s A Little Closer, which is world premiering this week in Rotterdam.
