The streaming service has confirmed its acquisition of worldwide streaming rights on the road movie ahead of its Park City world premiere on January 29.
The Fundamentals Of Caring stars Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts and Selena Gomez and centres on a heartbroken caregiver who gets to know a youngster with muscular dystrophy.
US theatrical rights remain on the table. CAA and UTA jointly represent the film.
Former head writer on the Late Night With David Letterman TV show Rob Burnett directed and Donna Gigliotti, James Spies and Burnett produced. Jamal Daniel and Renee Witt are the executive producers.
Last week Netflix also acquired streaming rights to the drama Tallulah starring Ellen Page in a deal with ICM Partners. Good Universe handles international sales.
