The self-distribution initiative covers festival entries from last year stretching back to 1994, all of which will be available to rent, download or stream on platforms like iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, SundanceNOW, YouTube and Netflix.

The Artist Services programme unveiled last summer is deigned to offer filmmakers exclusive opportunities for creative self-distribution, marketing and financing. New Video is the exclusive aggregation partner across all portals.

“We are truly excited for these films to reach the leading digital platforms and storefronts for movies,” Sundance Institute executive director Keri Putman said. “We created Artist Services so films that have shown at the Sundance Film Festival or been part of our Sundance Institute Labs will have a chance to find their audiences and fan bases.”
