The partnership extends Time Warner’s support for the Institute and includes artist support, fellowships and public programming at the Sundance Film Festival.

The Power Of Story Partnership is designed to build on the Time Warner Storytelling Advancement Fund established in 2007 by providing substantial support to the Institute’s Feature Film and Theatre Programs as well as other programmes.

Up to 24 Time Warner Storytelling Fellowships for Sundance Institute film and theatre artists will be selected over three years. The partnership will also back a series of panels during the festival to explore the impact of storytelling.

Over the past four years, Time Warner claims it has supported 17 Sundance Institute artists. Three previous Fellows have films screening at this month’s festival: Dee Rees (Pariah), Andrew Okpeaha MacLean (On The Ice) and Elgin James (Little Birds).
