Sales outfit Stealth is to undergo a rebrand to become Phoenix Worldwide Entertainment.
According to the company the decision was taken following “a strategic review of the group’s ambitions”.
Production financing and co-production will be headed by Michael Cowan who will be based out of London.
Phoenix Worldwide Entertainment will focus on film and television sales and will be headed by principal and partner Glenn Kendrick Ackermann.
Head of production John Adams will help structure and supervise the feature films that Phoenix aims to produce.
Executive production and acquisitions activity will be headed by Jason Piette out of Los Angeles.
The group aims to have four distinct sub labels as well as a television division: Phoenix Sovereign will be aimed at commercial theatrical films; Phoenix Adrenalin for genre films; Phoenix Prestige for foreign language films; and Phoenix Docs.
Michael Cowan, CEO of Phoenix stated: “As we pursue other revenue generating opportunities and financing capabilities, we decided this was the perfect time to rebrand.”
